EDUCATIONAL SERVICE

The industry has always been a privileged place to build ideas for the future. Fundamental for the construction of the society we know, industrial spaces have a social value added by their potential to be places of reference to the historical past, but also as spaces for reflection on issues of the present and the future.
After the consolidation of the Industrial Tourism of S. João da Madeira as a tourist product, the launch of the Educational Service aims to develop its potential in the field of education, as well as promote and improve access conditions - namely physical, social and intellectual - to differentiated publics.
A factory can be much more than a place of production of consumer goods. A factory can also be a place of questioning, thinking and creation. Environment. Architecture. Art. Body. Technology. Movement. Sound. Memory. Economy. Job. Industry as arena. What was it. What is. What can it be. On the proximity scale, crossing the ones inside with those outside these places. Give voice. Have a voice. Share and create together.
LINK YOURSELF TO INDUSTRY is a proposal designed to stimulate the diversity of relationships that can be built between individuals and industry.
