This urban park was opened to the public in May 2008. It’s a leisure area with a lot of green zones and thousands of trees, perfect for walking and biking.
The park gains another dimension with the presence of the “UL” river crossing it, creating an idyllic scenario. This watercourse was redefined to its actual size thanks to the realignment and riverbed’s expansion works combined with the construction of dams that constitute, with the docks, the park’s irrigation water supply.
The visitors also have the opportunity to visit the nature house, created using the reconstruction of an ancient water station. It has a bar, a reception hall, environment interpretation center and also showers.
The park is the accomplishment of an old desire of the city population and it will keep developing and growing along the time.
