Stories of Violence: A dialogue between the works of the Treger / Saint Sylvester Collection addresses the question of the destruction that humans tend to raise by questioning this tendency, its origins and its relations with art. Among the more than 50 artists represented are the great classics of gross art such as Henry Darger and Friedrich Schröder-Sonnenstern and names of contemporary art as Robert Combas or Gonçalo Mabunda.
The exhibition features paintings, sculptures, drawings from the Treger / Saint Silvestre collection in dialogue with works from other collections.
The author of the exhibition project is Gustavo Giacosa, who, along with his activity as an actor and theater director, has played a fundamental role in the interpretation of the marginal visual arts, their crossings with contemporary art and the performing arts. In November 2017 he was the commissioner of the third Biennial of Gross Art in Lausanne, where he presented the exhibition "Corps".
